It been a chilly days this month. And often the sky are still dark when you wake up and  i always feel i want to go to bed again.

Even after you had your breakfast you probably  feel sleepy and chilly .

So my friend lily and I decided to make some worming drink.

A chai a drink from india that uses spaicy warming herbs.

I think it like a rock band base guitar for assam tea make nice top quality

Of smell and taste. Drum for clove to keep up the spiciness of chai keyboard for cinnamon, go on top of evrythings and add extra quality to it. Acoustic guitar is cardamon. it makes the melody and leads up everythings with the incredibly high sense of small. And the last one is bocal for milk and sugar. It makes all the herb together and nice and add more worming, and creaminess to it. Also if you use the oat milk or the soya milk, it can give you more of creamy taste.

The when you listen(I mean drink) to the music(the chai) you must have dig smile in your face.

Well, I just want to tell you you must run to the kitchen,

                                                                           and boil some water right NOW!!

Oh here is the recipe that you can use.

  • 400ml of water 
  • 400ml of oat or soya milk
  • 2 bag of tea (assam)
  • 1 cinnamon stick 
  • 3 cardamom
  • 3 cloves
  • 2 tablespoon of sugar
  1. You boil the water with the tea( you take it out from the bags) And the species

New year new fish

New year new fish

Pufferfish  – the most tasty fish I ever had, and only get to eat them once a year.

Every new year’s day all my family gather round my grandparents house and have a big big dinner for the new year. In Japan, the new year is like Christmas in the UK and our Christmas is like our  new year . 

So my grandma made lots of nice new year food that Japanese people normally have on new year’s day.  But, because my grandparents used to do montessori children’s house and infant community (which my mum is doing right now) they ordered lots of  fish from one place for nearly 50 years. So fish people kindly give us a lot of special, expensive fishes every new year.

Lots of grandma’s food + lots of special fish, is a lot to eat. The table at my grandparents was full of colourful foods. All my family members sat around the table and started  eating.

I was sitting in the middle so I couldn’t get the food  from the end of the table. But in front of me there was a huge plate of puffer fish.

White slightly see through the unknown fish in front of me lay really nicely like a flower, and some of the parts of puffer fish are poison so need trust to the fish shop people. Front of me my grandma’s sister is eating this unknown fish. She didn’t look like the person that is dying from the puffer fish poison. So I picked up my chopstick and carfly picked up one slice of puffer fish.

I dipped in this vinegery soy sauce and quickly into my mouth. I know people normally eat unknown stuff slowly, somehow my brain worked the opposite. Don’t ask why….   Because I don’t know.

Now this unknown fish ware in my mouth but in less then second the unknown fish became the most tasty fish that I ever had.  Well I don’t know if it was the fish that tasted nice or the sauce was….anyway the fish was really easy to chew and had a nice texture. 

I can’t wait till next year.
